Crankshaft Balancer Installation

Note: Make sure that the markings are in the shown position. Otherwise rotate the crankshaft balancer drive sprocket (1) and the crankshaft balancer sprocket (2) to that position.

1. Check the crankshaft balancer position.



2. Install the crankshaft balancer (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

3. Install the 4 crankshaft balancer bolts (2, 3) and tighten to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
